I work from the perspective that whenever we are faced with traumatic experiences we resist violence and act in ways to not only protect ourselves and the ones we love, but we also act in ways to preserve our dignity. Often times our ability to cope with these overwhelming experiences depends on the social responses we receive following them. Were you held and protected, or blamed and further victimized?

Working within a Response-based Practice I can support you to heal following traumatic experience using therapeutic modalities including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), somatic therapy, art therapy, and mindful self-compassion.
